Bryce is a third year physical therapy student from Marshall University who completed a 12-week clinical rotation at the Dunbar Center.
At the beginning of the clinical experience, Bryce was apprehensive and could not imagine himself working in a skilled nursing facility or even completing a rotation here. Entering the rotation with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to gain new experiences with his mentor, he connected with the residents very easily. Overall, throughout the 12 weeks and the diverse patient population in the center at the time Bryce had a very transformative clinical experience. By the end, Bryce not only enjoyed being in a skilled nursing facility but also stated he could see himself working in this setting full time!
