James: Going Above and Beyond

James had one goal throughout therapy, which was to return to his home.

Upon arrival, James required assistance transferring from one surface to another.

After Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy with Powerback, James:

• Can now walk 200+ feet with a mobility aid
• Increased his Brief Cognitive Assessment Tool (BCAT) score from 41 to 44, and he now has increased safety awareness regarding his environment, and he increased his ability to complete advanced tasks such as money management and medication management
• Increased his Physical Performance and Mobility Examination (PPME) from a 4 to a 9 out of 12

James was able to return to his home after the inspiring progress he made in therapy– which meant the absolute world to him. James states:

“Being able to do for myself again.”
