After experiencing multiple cardiac complications leading to hospitalization, Lauralee was admitted to a care center.
Upon arrival, Lauralee required maximum assistance with ADLs, and a mechanical lift was needed to help her transfer out of bed. Additionally, she could not eat or drink without aspiration and could not sit upright in a chair for longer than 30 minutes at a time.
