Throughout her rehab journey, Icy participated in an intensive rehab program, completing comprehensive Occupational and Physical Therapy multiple times daily. Her therapy sessions focused on helping Icy improve her ability to perform ADLs, enhance standing endurance and balance, and regain her mobility through targeted gait training. In time, Icy not only met but exceeded her initial goals. With great pride and accomplishment, Icy was able to return home, restored in both strength and resilience!
Throughout his recovery, John was eagerly supported by not only his Powerback therapy team but also the nursing department, his daughter, and palliative care agency. John's unwavering faith that he could successfully return to an independent life helped him reach his goals. Originally, John needed assistance with transfers and ADLs. With therapy, these outlooks transformed into John completing ADLs independently, without physical assistance. Way to go, John!
Sometimes, rediscovering the smallest pleasures significantly impacts patient success. After receiving orders to receive a feeding tube, Judith's most important goal in treatment was to be able to drink coffee again. This goal became a reality with a FEES from Powerback's Swallow Solutions team.
