Starting out, Leon could not stand for more than 30 seconds at a time without experiencing discomfort, and he required caregiver assistance for transfers. His main recovery goal? To return home independently after his amputation. With determination and the support of his close friend, who added home modifications to Leon's home, Leon graduated from therapy and returned home.
